Sie tritt die Nachfolge von Edward Ouko an und wird eine nicht verl\u00e4ngerbare Amtszeit von 8 Jahren antreten.<\/p>\n<p>Vor ihrer Ernennung zur Auditor General war Frau Gathungu Direktorin f\u00fcr Qualit\u00e4tssicherung der ORKB Kenia und leitende Innenrevisorin am Kenyatta National Hospital, dem gr\u00f6\u00dften Referenzkrankenhaus in Ost- und Zentralafrika.<\/p>\n<p>Sie hat einen Master-Abschluss in Betriebswirtschaft mit Schwerpunkt auf strategischem Management und einen Bachelor-Abschluss in Handels- und Rechnungswesen, beide von der Universit\u00e4t Nairobi, Kenia. Derzeit promoviert sie in Betriebswirtschaft mit dem Schwerpunkt strategisches Management.<\/p>\n<p>Frau Gathungu ist zertifiziertes Mitglied und Ausbilderin des Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya, Mitglied der Association of Women Accountants in Kenia, wo sie auch als Mentorin t\u00e4tig ist, und Mitglied des Kenya Leadership and Integrity Forum.<\/p>\n<p>Sie ist Moderatorin und Referentin zu Themen wie Pr\u00fcfungsverfahren, Kommunikation, Ethik, Unternehmensf\u00fchrung, Integrit\u00e4t sowie \u00f6ffentliche Finanzen und Risikomanagement und hat verschiedene hochrangige Aufgaben f\u00fcr die Afrikanische Organisation der englischsprachigen Obersten Rechnungskontrollbeh\u00f6rden (AFROSAI-E) sowie die Internationale Organisation der Obersten Rechnungskontrollbeh\u00f6rden (IDI) \u00fcbernommen.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Nancy Gathungu wurde am 17.
